Easy Delicious Homemade Bread
Have you been wanting to make bread but think it’s too difficult? This recipe, with only six ingredients is very easy to make and also very delicious!
Just mix dry ingredients in a bowl, add wet ingredients, more flour, knead, and let the yeast do it’s job!
This bread is best when fresh out of the oven with plenty of butter! But it’s also good used for sandwiches, and can be kept for up to a week ( or more) when stored in cool dry place.
Recipe:
Homemade Crushed Wheat Bread
8 cups Crushed Wheat
3 tablespoons yeast
3 tablespoons salt
¾ cup sweetener of your choice (I normally use sucanat, cane sugar, or maple syrup)
¾ cup oil
6 cups warm water
7-8 cups Crushed Wheat
1. Mix first four ingredients in a bowl, add water and oil. Mix well. Add last 7-8 cups crushed wheat and knead.
2. Let rise for 30 minutes, knead, let rise another 30 minutes, knead and put in greased pans, let rise 30 minutes. While bread is rising last time, preheat oven to 350°F.
3. Bake for 30 minutes. Brush butter over top after you take it out of oven. Slice and enjoy!
